This scooter drawing is a remnant from the storyboard I was doing.
I found myself reminded of the 2 Dudes, so I sketched them (using my improvised lightbox).And after rendering them...
... I added colour in photoshop.
Looks like they're going somewhere.
Let's hope to the next panels continuing the comic.

DIY Lightbox

last week I was working on a storyboard and found that I was really missing a lightbox. i couldn't think of any suitable materials around my flat, until I noticed the sand blasted glass on the kitchen cupboards. And soon I had a perfectly functional lightbox.

1. take a kitchen cupboard with (preferably sand blasted) glass fronts.
2. hope it's attached with a quick klick hinge and unhinge the door.
3. put a couple of books in a square and put a lamp inside (i just used an ikea nightlight).
4. place the door ontop, switch on the lamp and you're good to go.
5. suppress the urge to close the cupboard everytime you pass.
